Called Valley Glass to get a custom cut mirror. They knocked it out beautifully in a couple of hours and were very helpful with advice on mounting it. Even threw in the glue and hardware! Courteous staff and reasonably priced.
That evening the wind knocked an umbrella through my neighbor's window. She called Valley Glass, and they came over within a few hours to fix her up.
Very nice bunch of people who take pride in their work. We bought glass shelving for our new kitchen cabinets, as well as “water glass” to put into the doors of those cabinets.
We also had a new screen put into 2 window screens and a sliding glass door screen. Their prices beat 4 other businesses from whom I received quotes, all in Berkeley (where I live.) One place was 4 times the price for the screens and 3 times the price for glass! I saved hundreds of dollars and had a very positive interaction with the staff. This place is well worth the drive from anywhere in the Bay Area.
I called yesterday afternoon and inquired about getting a small table top piece of glass for a restored piece of furniture. They gave me a price (seemed reasonable) and told me they would call me when completed (I’m thinking a week or so). Not two hours later I got a call back, “Your glass is ready!” Now, I realize that this doesn’t always happen, depending on how busy things might be, however, I never even gave them my credit card or anything with the first call and I’ve never done business with them before. They treated me like their best customer with a phone call! The price was right, and the timing couldn’t have been better. Now that I’ve told you that their service is EXCELLENT, did I mention the quality? EXCELLENT as well! I will never go anywhere else but Valley Glass Company for my glass needs and neither should you.
I have used Valley Glass twice, and each experience has been wonderful. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have a wind-out window in the bathroom that needed a new gear thing. They knew exactly what needed to be replaced and got the piece in quick smart. I have a double paned patio door that has multiple problems–the seal on the stationary panel was compromised and had leaked dust, pollen, and water. It was a mess. The screen door was broken by the dog jumping through it by mistake, and the sliding part of the glass door came off the rails. They have been extremely helpful, and very responsive.
Just finished a kitchen remodel and buying glass for cabinet doors was the last step. Steeve and the wonderful folks at valley glass made this process super easy. Valley Glass installed the shower doors (2), bathroom mirrors and a large closet mirror during the very extensive remodeling of our home. The other day, the vinyl seals on the bottom of the shower door and a small seal in the hinge side of the door cracked ( this shower is the most used of the 2 showers). I called Valley Glass and asked if I could buy new seals. The nice lady on the phone said "...just bring the broken pieces in and we will cut news seals for you." I brought in the old vinyl seals in and one of the technicians ( Steve) cut two strips and gave me instructions on how to install the news seals on the shower door. The office lady checked my account and said there was no charge for the seals. I got home, and to my surprise, the new seals fit PERFECTLY (no adjustments, nothing!!!) onto the shower!! Great service!! Friendly staff!! I highly recommend this company for glass work; you will not be disappointed!! ***By the way, the large closet mirror was half the price from another glass company for the same mirror.
Messaged them via their website for a quote, and two days later I was picking up a glass table top. Perfect fit, great price, friendly service. If we ever need custom glass again, this is where we'll turn. Thanks!

Needed a new glass pane in my slider along with a new shower door for our bathroom remodel . Called Valley Glass and from the first phone call to the final install of my shower door, everyone I encountered was fantastic!!!! Got a quick quote on the slider, reasonably amount of wait on the measure and install. Crew came in kept everything clean and neat and the window looked great. Even cleaned both doors as well.
Had to wait for the tile to be installed to measure for shower door, which I would recommend getting this done ASAP since they need to order and make the door and make sure nothing gets chipped or broken. Got a 2 week window but got the door earlier and it looked wonderful. Install was about an hour and the crew keep their work area clean and gave us all the info about care for the door, warranties and let us know that any issues they would be right on them.
I didn't even price out any other company since most reviews here on Yelp were positive, well established long standing Walnut Creek business and I just got a good vibe with their outstanding customer service and their responsiveness. Thanks Valley Glass.
